Raj Kapoor
Founded Xtreme Sports Organisation in 2006 with the first ever overland expedition in the adventure space in India for the Petronas adventure team, Malaysia. With more than 55 national and international overland expeditions behind it, XSO sets the standards in this space.
Raj is an ardent petrol head who has been designing & building competition cars for over three decades , he also moonlights as an automotive journalist in the print & electronic media, a Chief of Fire & rescue for the only F1 track in the country, while also serving as a Council member and on the Board of Directors for the national motorsport federation, the FMSCI .
Veissali Kapoor
Veissali Kapoor is a driving force behind the organization. Her exposure to various ethnicities and cultures during her decade long stint at the American Embassy School, has enabled her to understand and be sensitive to the needs of people across cultures and countries. Endorsed for her organizational skills, she was appointed as the Chief of Welfare for the first Formula1 in India handling the hospitality and logistics for over 1200 marshals and officials. She handles the logistics and hospitality for Northern Motorsport and Xtreme Sports Organization.
Jayesh Desai
As a Himalayan rally and the Great Desert Himalaya rally veteran, he has seen his share of competitive motorsport and is the master strategist and the numbers person of this gang, while being the founder of XSO. With over 4 decades of motorsport and organised touring experience, JD ( as he is called ) has been exposed to myriad experiences in this space. Currently a FIM office bearer, he is involved with the cross country motorsport space. An avid car and bike person, his day job includes owning and managing multiple Maruti dealerships all over western UP.
Poddy Singh
A keen technical mind with years of automobile mechanical experience. A wildlife photographer and
an avid traveller with loads of stories from his various visits to Ladakh.
An extrovert with brilliant people skills who also loves to cook and share with others over his favourite drink.
Easy to locate once the sun sets, just head for the area which has a large group of boisterous people, a bon fire and an open bottle of old monk.
Vikram Kapur
Vikram Kapur has been an integral part of the organization in both Motorsport and Expeditions. His age belies his maturity and ability to dispense his duties responsibly. Focused and driven with a love for travelling, his people skills are unparalleled. He makes multitasking look relatively easy. With an easy demeanor and an ever ready smile, it is difficult not to warm up to Vikram.
Ruban Grewal
A regular name in the Indian rally circuit, Ruban has been an active rally participant in India’s most challenging rallies, - Raid de Himalayas, the Mughal Rally and the Sjoba Rally. An avid off-roader, Ruban has traversed the Himalayas more than a dozen times, exploring new and more challenging routes. He has been a key official in the Mahindra expeditions and has also been responsible for designing routes for Mahindra Off-road challenges.
